Five ways to remember what you learn

A course does not end on the evening of the last day. What happens next decides what stays.

Use it within the week. An idea applied within seven days has every chance of staying; one never used fades within a month.

Explain it to a colleague. Telling what you learned forces you to rephrase it, and rephrasing is how you remember.

Space out reviews. Reread your notes the next day, then a week later, then a month later.

Test yourself rather than reread. Three questions to yourself beat ten pages reread.

Pick one thing to change. One habit kept beats five good resolutions.
